These pictures were taken September in the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. We went for a week long pack trip on the Appalachian trail, what beautiful country!

Heaven did absolutely wonderful. She was our pack horse some of the time since she is thicker and bigger than our younger horses. She handled the heavy load with ease. She is so easy to pony, she learned how to move her body around the narrow trails to avoid bumping into trees and now is a pro pack horse!

She calmly went wherever asked, over fallen trees, navigated the rough terrain, through the deep river crossings and never even spooked at the bears!

She handled the elevation with no problems. If you are looking for a steady sure footed mount, Heaven is deffinitely just that. She is truly a dream to camp with.
