| - He is broke, has been ridden trails & on cattle. He is very light on the bit, very easily works off leg pressure, loads easily, bathes easily. He has plenty of gas when needed & is VERY athletic, collects naturally. He will make a real nice competitive horse for cattle events, barrels, will go through anything on the
trail. We raised him here - I owned his mother. I bought his dam from Bobby Atwood, 2 time World Champion Team Penner. (You may have seen articles about his horses in Western Horseman) She was one of his team penning horses.
(Awesome mare!) | |
Rio is a very nice horse to ride, very well mannered, willing, athletic & alert enough to win well at team penning / sorting, & working ranch type events. We are using him as a ranch horse, moving cattle & working.
His health has never been a problem, real good feet, legs & hooves. Couldn't ask for better. No problem loading, excellent manners, & comes running when you call him from the pasture to ride him.
$4,000. Pictures taken as a 4-5 yr old.
This gelding has been sold but please take a look at the other fine
horses we have for sale. I'm sure you will find one you like!
